Is there a way to add playback controls to a slide that I have inserted video onto?
I know that I can edit the player features when selecting the slide in the Story view tab and ticking the seekbar to on. But that ends up putting the player chrome onto all the slides which I don't want.
Maybe I should make it as an engage interaction and import that?
You can insert playback controls right on the video - just double click on the video to display the Video options in the toolbar ribbon (or whatever it is called) and select the option "Show video controls"
I was looking in the right-click menu and on the properties and size and position dialogs. I never though to look at the ribbon. Good thing it wasn't a snake!

Thank you.

Yup it is a good thing it is not a snake - wouldn't want it biting you when you weren't looking.
And, just saved me time agonizing over an annoying problem for my current project - thanks!
Glad to see that this older conversation was able to help you as well, Matthew. Thanks for popping in to share.
