Inserting a Simulation for a specific space

Is it possible to insert a recorded screen (with the step by step slides in try mode) into a specific area. See example below...the step by step slides are  only in the computer screen on the slide. Did the developer use another tool to do this? Or did they do it directly on Storyline?

Hi Sumita and welcome to Heroes!

Without seeing the .story file it's hard to say for certain what they did - but a few options you may want to consider:

  • Recording a screen recording at a smaller size than your story size will allow it to fit within the overall slide as it's inserted as a background image and not adjustable. 
  • You could record the screen in a separate file, publish it and insert it as a web object or export the mp4 and insert it as a standard video
