I am wanting to insert a free text field where participants enter their responses to a question. The answers are to get them thinking and then the correct responses are posed on the next slide. I dont need to track their answers and the purpose of the field is to ensure they are remaining engaged.
You could insert a short answer survey question, to help the users think about answering the question and you don't have to track it. If you don't want to have the user see the next slide until they've finished, you'll need to determine how you're going to restrict the navigation.
You can use a custom text entry slide to achieve this. In this case the result slide wont track this slide. Instead of showing the answer on the next slide, I am showing it on a layer when submit is clicked.
