What happened when you tried inserting the video as a web object just using the URL? Were you able to use the "Test link" button from inside the "Insert Web Object" window. Did you get an error message when trying to insert it as a web object using the URL?
If you were able to see the video when using the "test link" button, but not when published, you may also want to follow the steps within this article.
When I inserted the video just using the URL, it would give me a "cannot open this page" error. I don't have the code to embed it properly so I was trying to find another way around it becuase I would rather the learner watch the video inside the tutorial than jump to a website and have to come back. If you have any ideas it would be appreciated
Thanks for the additional clarification. Can you send me a link to the video so I can test it? I'm curious if it's only the one video that you had a problem with or if there have been other videos with which you encountered this problem?

Here is some info on inserting a video as a web object. The info is specific to YouTube videos, but the concept applies to any video.
