Can you confirm that you are working locally as described here? Has this happened before, or is this the first file it has happened? You could try to import the file into a new one. If this issue persists, you could follow theĀ steps listed here.
Also, just an FYI, when you use the reply button in the email, your email signature will post in the thread. To avoid this, click on the title of the thread within the email to be directed to this thread.
I checked your file, and I am able to hit pause, the timeline pauses and when I insert a box, it appears at the same spot where the timeline is paused. Then the timeline does resume from that same spot. You may want to try and run another repair and import this file into a new one to make sure.
