I inserted buttons on a slide that when the user clicks more information appears. I'm not sure what I did because the buttons float in but then don't stay on the slide so that the user can click on them. They fade out. I inserted layers for each of the buttons. On all the other slides I didn't have the problem of the buttons fading out.
There are several reasons this may happen. Here are some ideas:
Your animation settings for the buttons are set to fade out.
The layer you put them on has hit the end of the timeline and the layer is being hidden again. Remove any triggers that are hiding the layer when the timeline ends.
Similar to #2 - a new layer is being shown, and it is hiding the previous layer. This can be changed through the layer settings - uncheck the option to hide other layers.
I'm not sure what happened, but some of the buttons and icons weren't extending until the end. I found a properties type button and checked the box for that image to stay til the end and got it figured out.

Where do I check the animation settings on buttons? This is the primary layer that I am working on.

Hi Sharon! Glad you were able to get that figured out and thanks Josh for your assistance.
