Inserting Captivate demo as local web object
Nov 01, 2016
Hello. I have a course where I am including a few Captivate demos as web objects. These will be local that I embed, not hyperlinked to the demos online.
I need to publish the storyline course to an LMS. So I am assuming I publish the captivate demos choosing Web. Rename the xxx.html to index.html, browse to that file and embed as Web object. Is that correct? Or do I also publish the Captivate demos for LMS?
Also, which is better, embed as web object or publish the captivate demos as mp4s? What has worked better?
Thanks

Yes, you would publish the Captivate demos for web and then insert them into a Storyline webobject. Technically, you can also publish the CP demos as .mp4, but then you would loose any interactivity in the demos.
