At first thought if I understand what you're wanting to do, there's currently no way to insert a data list, and there's no 'widget' for a dropdown list.
I'm thinking you could manually build one but may not be what you're wanting to do. If so, consider this:
1. Create a text box with your data list.
2. Each item on the list set as hyperlinks that Jump To a slide or Show Layer that will ultimately have more information.
3. Resize your list as wide as the widest list item.
3. Insert a Scrolling Panel and connect it to your data list text box.
Users could scroll the list, select a data item, and either jump to another slide or show a layer. Not exactly a dropdown list but adding a few creative graphic treatments to it would present it attractively.

Hey Shalabh,

Hope that helps.
Thanks Kevin. I value your input.
