Hi, I've recorded several screen casts and have had no problem inserting them first as videos then as step by step views, however I need to do about 5 more and they won't import. The screen starts to import but then just gets to the first slide and just closes down and goes back to the main screen. I've tried importing them as separate scenes and also within existing scene to no avail. I've also tried it with importing different recordings. The file size is 247 MB (eek) is it too big to import anymore screencasts?
Sorry to hear you are having issues with this. Have you tried running a repair on your Storyline? Please confirm that you are working locally with your files as described here.
You could also try recording and importing them into separate files, the using the File/Import method to bring them into one file.

I’ve reinstalled storyline but it still won’t bring in the files I’ve already recorded.
I’ve re-recorded them on a blank file and have imported them into the file I need them in.
