I'm trying to insert a slide template that I created and instead it is inserting a blank slide. Here are my steps:
1. New Project
2. Insert > New Slide
3. Templates drop down to appropriate template
4. Correct slide is highlighted > Import
5. Blank slide is inserted.
The built in templates work fine, ex. "Character Display Panels," but my own templates don't work. They only seem to work if I open a new project from that template and then insert from there. Just trying to see if this is broken or if I'm doing something incorrectly.
I created this template and it refuses to insert. I tried it every which way and I can't get it to work. If I change the extension to .story it opens fine, but as a template it just inserts a blank slide.
Don't mean to bump this again but I figured it out. It's because my template is a blank slide with a modified master slide. When importing or using as a template, it does not import that stuff. Sorry for the multiple posts and my confusion.

nvm...I think a file has been corrupted or something. I created a new template and that one is working OK.
