Hi Joanne,
Can you try repairing your installation of Storyline and then reinstalling the Character Pack? If you continue to have issues, submit a support case to us. Thanks!
I know this is an older post, but I was having the same problem myself. If installing the pack as administrator doesn't work, try right-clicking on the file and 'Run with Elevated Privileges'. It worked for me :-)
Thanks Carlos for sharing that here - I'm not sure that I've seen "elevated privileges" before. Could you tell us what instance of Windows you're running? Perhaps that's a particular setting in your Windows environment?
I'm getting the same issue. My IT guy even tried running it as an administrator but that did not work. We're running Windows 7 64 bit.
Hi Suzanne!
Did you try Peter's suggestion above? If you are still having difficulty, you may want to reach out to our support team.
I get the same error, and do not have the same options as Carlos has.
Hi Barbara!
Yeah, that's the first time I had seen that before :) Did you try Peter's suggestion above? If you are still having difficulty, you may want to reach out to our support team.
I submitted a ticket, but the reply was not very helpful. I am running Windows 7 on a Surface Pro 3.
Hi Barbara! Thanks for mentioning that you were working with support (00730007). I see where Ryan is awaiting a reply from you and the case is still open so that he can continue to assist you. I would advise replying to your support case and working further with our team.
Hi Barbara! Just popping back in. Were you able to work with your IT team to get your character bundle installed as Ryan shared? Just let him know if you need any further assistance.
Hello,
I'm a new user and am having the same issue with installing the character bundle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm running IE on a VMWare on a Mac
Nevermind, I right clicked and chose "Run as administrator" and was successful.
Happy to hear it John - all the Articulate software needs to be installed with Administrator privileges and then activated by the end user using the specific serial number for that individual.
