Instruct LMS which results slide to use

Dec 12, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I have created a bilingual course that allows the learner to flip between English and French. I run into a problem however when the learner gets to the confirmation activity. At this point the learner must select to take either the English or French confirmation. This requires and English results slide and a French results slide.

Is there a way either using variables or a trigger that can be used to instruct the LMS to use either the English or the French based on the language they chose to do the confirmation in?

Thanks.

Hi Andrew!

Currently, Storyline lets you track a course either by the number of slides viewed, by course completion trigger, or by a single quiz (result slide). You have a couple options if you need to track multiple quizzes, depending on the quiz the learner chooses.

  • If you simply want to mark the course as "passed" if the learner receives a passing score, consider using the course completion trigger.
  • If you do need to track the actual quiz scores, I'll leave it to the community to help you set up that custom quiz. This similar discussion is a good place to start!
