Interaction wont give CORRECT answer
Aug 24, 2017
Hi Everyone
I have a freeform interaction that is essentially a "pick one". I need the learner to choose from multiple check boxes as well as 2 radio buttons. The right combination will be correct. When I test it, even when I give the correct response, it still gives an "incorrect" and I have no idea why. I have included a screen shot and the file. It is question Q 9.15 and the correct answer sequence is #4, 7, 8 should be selected along with "Lower White Bank". Thanks for any insight.

hi Terry
which question bank has Q9.15 in it I'm not see 15 questions in any of the quiz banks in the file you uploaded.
Hi Wendy....it's me again. Scene 9 - Condensing Technology.
Hi Terry
Love to help but there is no scene 9 in the file you've uploaded only Scenes 2 and 1?
Im sorry.... I mistyped... Question bank 9
There is no QB 9 - there are only 4 QBs and they are named
and none have 15 questions
Thank you for your patience Wendy...hopefully this will clear it up.
Hi Terry
see attached file.
I added in the QB 9 and found the quiz slide. As it was a pick one and you wanted multiple things to be checked I added two buttons offstage Correct and Incorrect button and used these to drive the interaction. These two buttons are used in Form View and then you need triggers to select them.
There were only 'selected' states on some of the checkboxes and radio buttons so I also added 'selected' states to all the checkboxes and radio buttons as a user has the option to select them
See if the attached works how you want.
It works, thank you! I see your offstage buttons...I was trying to accomplish the same thing with those radio buttons on the far right. Still not sure why my solution wasn't working... probably over complicating as usual..LOL... Thanks again Wendy!!
No worries Terry whatever works :-)
Your solution was slightly flawed as you were forcing the user into selections by not having a selected state on all options and it was confusing SL...moral of the story don't confuse SL - LOL
