Interactive 360 degree photos - how to make your own?

Hi all,

Just updated to the latest version of Storyline 360 and trying out the 360 degree feature, as it would be a huge boost to my latest project.

I tried taking a quick 360 degree panoramic using my smartphone (Samsung Note 8), but I can't figure out how to edit it down to a 2:1 aspect ration as Storyline requires. So far, the photos I've taken and inserted look pretty woeful once they are rendered.

Does anyone have any tips on how I can create my own? I've tried searching the forum but so far no luck.
