Is it possible to create a quiz in Storyline 360 where students speak into a microphone and are graded on how accurately they pronounce a sentence? I didn't think Storyline had this capability but received this request from a SME and wanted to know if anyone has done something similar.
There is no built-in function to do this. You might be able to use some Javascript-based function or API to add voice recognition via a Storyline webobject. Here is a post that discusses one option.
Unfortunately, it is not really worth the hassle at this point. Three years ago I made a demo with Storyline for speech recognition to answer quiz questions but it was working on Chrome only. It's 2019 and it's still Chrome only. (Actually Firefox also, if you can figure out how to tell users to enable it.)
Here's a good article from last year about the topic.
