Hello,

Does an interactive .swf file with a "hotspot" quiz work in Storyline?

In the video file there is an interactive quiz with several questions...true/false, multiple choice and hotspot.

All work except the hotspot. I read in another post that only drag and drop won't work.

Hi Christine,

If your SWF file is a movie that requires no interaction from users, you can use the Insert > Video > Video from File option, which synchronizes the video with the slide's timeline.
If your SWF file contains interactive elements, you will probably want to use the Insert > Flash option described below, which will play the SWF file independently of the slide.

You'll want to choose the latter of those options to be able to access any interactivity within the file.

I added the .swf file as a Flash Media file.

Thanks Christine - where are you testing the published output? Are you testing it locally or within the intended publish environment as described here?
