Interactive markers

I am trying to put a large amount of content into a drag and drop interaction with multiple stages of feedback.
I have the layout and grading of the slide all sorted out using variables, hotspots etc. However I've hit a snag, I have opted to use markers for the hidden information capability but whenever I make the marker "drag-able" the caption stays in the original position which isn't good from a learner perspective because the content ends up in the wrong place.
Has anyone run into this before?
Regards,
Andy

I don't think markers were ever intended to be dragged, they are invisible in the drag and drop freeform question, i think the bug here is that the marker can be selected with a drag trigger
Hi there,
I'm not using a free form interaction, I have used variables to create my own, as it doesn't need to retain the score it just works better because there is more than 1 correct outcome which the freeform interaction (as good as it is) doesn't allow.
Exactly, I don't believe markers were ever intended to be allowed to be draggable, which is why you are seeing a bug,
So there's no possible workaround for this?
Is there any way of having an object with a rollover (similar to a marker) that will display next to an object regardless of where the object is dragged?
So a kind of grouping relationship of 2 items with different state requirements?
You could add it into the hover state of any object, just cut and paste it in.
Hi Andy! Looks like Phil is taking care of you here.
Thanks Phil
