Interactive Slides - How to restrict advancing

Aug 27, 2020

I am very new to articulate and working through most things successfully but I am stumped with how to restrict an interactive slide from advancing.

I have a slide with 5 tabs that the user needs to click through.  Click the first tab, listen to the content and move to the next tab.  I do not want the slide to advance until the timeline on the 5th tab has finished.

Currently, the slide is advancing automatically when the timeline ends on the main layer and before any tab is clicked.

Any suggestions on how to set this properly?

Thanks in advance.

Hello Tiffany,

My English is not very good, but I will do my best.

This function is quite possible. If you use the classic bluit-in player, it will disable the "next" button when starting the slide.

Then you have to add a trigger with the conditions "If all tabs are visited, please enable the next button".

I think this link may help you: https://community.articulate.com/articles/require-learners-to-click-all-objects-before-continuing

If you need more help, let me know.

Have a nice day
