Interactive survey
Aug 02, 2018
Good day,
I am creating a gamified assessment and struggling with the variables.
I have two answers for every question. And i need a way to count how many times the first answer has been clicked and how many times the second answer has been clicked. (i originally thought that number variables would work in this situation)
I then need on the result slide, to show that the learner has clicked the first answer so many times and the same with the second answer.
Please if someone can help.

Hi there Carla! You came to the right place for help. There are lots of creative folks who hang out in this forum, and I'm looking forward to the ideas they'll share with you!
In the meantime, do you have a file going already? If so, can you share it with us? That'll help us get a better idea of what you're envisioning for this interaction. Thanks!
Not quite sure what you where wanting but take a look at this.
In principle Dane's solution will work but it doesn't account for a user clicking on and off an answer multiple times before clicking submit, i.e. clicking on and off Option 1 ten times will make the associated variable count up to 10.
I've modified Dane's file to adjust the variables when the Submit button is clicked on condition that the check boxes are in the selected state.
David, very nice! I thought of a few other things also . Like multiple attempts you would need to adjust/reset the count per question accordingly.
You're right Dane, and to do this is pretty straight-forward so it's quite a versatile solution.
