I am trying to work out if there is a way to set the internal margins of all text boxes I insert to have matching internal margins - for example 10px for top, bottom, left and right. I have tried to set this and then save as a default text box but whenever I insert a new text box it re sets to the default of 10px left and right and 5px top and bottom.
Right-clicking an object allows you to reset the default formatting. Unfortunately, that doesn't include the text-box margins...
If you adjust the margins in a Master layout, those margins persist when the layout is applied. And, if a Master placeholder has the settings you want, you can copy and paste it to get an object with the same settings.
If you'd like to use different text boxes and/or shapes throughout a course without having to reset the margins, I suggest you create an extra scene. Put basic copies of the objects you'll be using on a slide, and then copy and paste them when needed. When you don't need them anymore, just delete that slide and scene.

Hi Judy
Yes, I think creating the extra scene is the approach I will take.
Thanks for the suggestion!
