Internet Explorer Being Discontinued by Microsoft - what does this mean for Articulate Products?

Mar 20, 2015

Hi

Today I read this article - http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2015/03/17/microsoft-internet-explorer-project-spartan/24909091/ which says that Microsoft is planning on releasing it's new browser with Windows 10 later this year.

Will Articulate be updated in time to be compatible with this new browser? I know in the past that when the browsers did any kind of major updates that some of the functionality of the Articulate products did not work as expected and Articulate was good at fixing them but the fixes were not immediate and sometimes took a few months to implement  but this sounds serious and could affect thousands of users.

Thanks

Hi Wendy,

Thanks for reaching out here. In regards to new operating systems or browsers, we don't announce official support until the element has been released and we've had a chance to test content within that set up. I'm sure this is something our development team is aware of, but I'll also share this thread with them in regards to your concerns and you can also send them feedback directly by sharing information in the form of a feature request here.
