Hi all - I just downloaded some templates from the Articulate Storyline site from Downloads > Templates > Storyline. The extensions are all *.story. Where do I put these files so I can access them from Storyline (ex: if I want to use one for one of my scenes/screens?
Hi Julie- Welcome to Heroes! Thanks for reaching out here today. Take a peek at this tutorial on Working with Templates, specifically the Importing Templates section. Basically, you can store the downloaded templates anywhere on your local drive. Once you import them into Storyline following those directions, a copy of the template will be added to your library for future use. Hope that's helpful! Let me know if you have questions. :)
We recommend working off of your local computer, which is typically your C Drive. Not sure that we would advise you on where to store, so I'm thinking it may be a misunderstanding. These are actual .story project files that you would open and use as you wish. Just be sure to do a Save As on your actual project :)
