Introducing Our Free Articulate Storyline Integration Plugin For LearnDash LMS

Apr 29, 2016

Hey Heroes!

Some of you may be familiar with, or are currently using LearnDash LMS as your learning management system ( I have used LearnDash to develop a number of bespoke platforms for clients, being a developer I find it highly customisable, and using the power of WordPress you can create some really original fully-online learning experiences for learners.

One of the things that I think has been lacking for some time is proper integration with industry standard eLearning tools like Storyline. I have already seen a few discussions on this site highlighting that the manual 'Mark Complete' button process for topic pages is not ideal for ensuring that learning objectives, as created by the tutor, are being properly met within the learning content. Learners could theoretically click the Mark Complete button at any time to skip through a course.

This is where I hope my brand new FREE add-on plugin for WordPress/LearnDash will answer many of those concerns! I have just launched this today on my company's website, with the hope of making it available after a few weeks of testing and feedback onto the WordPress Plugin Repository to make it visible to an even larger audience:

The functionality of the plugin is very simple. LearnDash tutors can remove the manual Mark Complete button from any topic page, and dictate exactly when the Mark Complete action on those topic pages needs to be triggered within a Storyline object. This creates a number of opportunities for course builders! Not only can you ensure that learners do not simply 'skip' through content, but you can also ensure that learning has been satisfactorily demonstrated before giving the option for learners to progress.

This makes my plugin perfect if your learners need to, for example, interact fully with digital learning content right to the very end, such as watching a video in full, achieve a pass mark on your Storyline quiz, score a certain score on a game. All you need to do is use our JavaScript code for any action you want in Articulate Storyline, and our plugin will take care of the rest! Full details, instructions and download link are on our website now!

I welcome any feedback from testers at this early launch stage!
