iPad Isue

Hey guys,

We are experiencing some strange beahviour from our Articulate courses on our LMS only on iPad, Strangely enough thing work fine on android tablets but for iPads all the buttons hit area move outside the actual button shape! Say 3cm underneath. My guess is that this might be due to the fact that course are displayed in a lightbox style popup on ipads but normally on androids. I was keen to know how to turn off this feasture on iPads. I have done some changes to the "story.html" file trying to shut down ipad detections from androids but no luck. Any way around this?

Hi Amir, 

Thanks for posting this. Which LMS are you using? Have you had a chance to test your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate-related or if it's on your LMS's side? If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, are you able to share your .story file so I can take a look at it? Thanks!

Our LMS is a locally developed LMS on top of cold fusion and yes we have tested on SCORM Cloud and our Storyline courses do play nice in there on iPads so no blame to be put on the Storyline side. It should be some issue with our LMS at the moment and this is not a new issue for us as all lightbox style popups have this problem on our system only on iPads. That`s why I was looking for a way to shut that option down for the moment while LMS is under investigation so that course play on normal window on iPad just like on Androids.
