iPad Safari Audio Playback Question
Mar 11, 2014
Since the dawn of iPad time, I have known that Safari will play only one overlapping audio track on a Storyline slide. I'm sure I verified it at the time, and I spend significant time blending multiple tracks in Audacity to address this issue.
Then today out of nowhere, it came up in conversation that a more recent iOS version eliminated that issue. If this is true, I don't need to be blending audio tracks any longer. Instead, I can position multiple audio tracks on Storyline's timeline knowing that iPad/Safari/HTML5 will play back the multiple overlapping audio tracks on queue just like Flash output does. This would be a real time saver.
Would someone from Articulate or anyone that might know post back here confirming this rumor and perhaps which version of iOS solved this limitation?
Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,
You'll need to use iOS6 or later for the iPad and mobile safari as described here.

This is good news.
