Hey Folks, I am trying to have my iPad version of a storyline course
report back the score back to the LMS. I have tried about EVERY
possible combination that the system can use and i either get back 100%
passed even when fail or 0% failed. I have attached my latest settings
in screen shots. Any input would be great. My current LMS does not do
Tin Can yet, so i'm trying to get this to work right otherwise.
It looks like the main problem here is that the LMS doesn't have Tin Can support. If that's the case, you may need to try publishing for HTML5 and not the mobile app. Keep in mind, though, there may be some limitations for your content in HTML5 output.
Here's some additional information:
Support for tracking Articulate Mobile Player content in an LMS via Tin Can API was added in Update 1 for Storyline. To take advantage of the new features and fixes, download and install the latest version of Storyline from the link in your product confirmation email, or get it here. Then republish your Storyline project for Tin Can API.
If you published for SCORM or AICC, your LMS will not be able to track or report Articulate Mobile Player content. If you need to track the results of your LMS courses, it's recommended that you do not include the Articulate Mobile Player option when publishing. Or, encourage your LMS provider to support Tin Can API. (Our white paper on Tin Can API implementation provides helpful information for your LMS provider.)
Thanks for the feedback Christine. So i have exported directly to HTML5. I did not pass the exam on purpose, and it tells me i have passed and got 100%. I just all the same settings as above except i unchecked the mobile player.
Is the course still launching in the mobile player, or is it launching in Safari? I'm thinking it may still be loading the earlier version, if you tried to overwrite it. If you haven't already, try renaming the course and uploading a fresh copy to the LMS. That should help with any caching issues.
When i did it, I uploaded a new instance/new name of the course and it launched in Safari. I will submit for a closer look. This is a stripped down version or the Full course so that we can test this part, get it right then do it on the full course.

Let me know how it goes.

If the problem continues, we'd be happy to take a closer look.

Ok, thanks for confirming, Adam.
Any chance you can share that case number with me, so I can follow the progress and update this forum thread?
Thanks again!
Sure no problem. Case # 00316415
Thanks, Adam, appreciate it!
