Sure thing! Are you referring to differences in the system requirements, specifically for your setup of Windows 10 with Parallels? Articulate 360 is compatible with Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit) and Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later with Parallels Desktop 7+. The full system requirements are listed here. Let me know if you'd like any more information!
I also would love to see a native version of Storyline! While running the Mac/Parallels/Windows setup is okay, it's also very costly over time. In addition, there is double support because you have to have both the Mac OS and Windows support thus, it makes trouble shooting much more involved. Some would argue just switch to Windows. My answer to that is, No. Why should someone have to bend to the whims of a company in order to use that company's product? If you want to reach maximum market potential, you have to be willing to go beyond what the competitor offers or at very minimum match them. Judging by the number of posts on this issue, I would say that you have enough people interested in a Mac version to warrant such a product.
So I purchased Fusion and Windows JUST to run Storyline on my Mac. Had a windows problem and ended up having to reinstall everything. Super painful not to mention when I run Fusion, my Mac sounds like a jet plane taking off. Just adding my two cents for a Mac version otherwise, I will begin the search for an alternative.
Here's my Mac-SL-user dilemma for Articulate: I have SL2 and want to upgrade to SL360. Assuming there's a Mac version coming out in the near future, I'd rather not purchase 360 yet. This scenario often ends with having to pay another cost for the 'upgrade', even though it's the same software except it's for the Mac that we wished it was for in the first place! :-\
So I'd like to ask: If I were to buy a new version of Windows-based SL and a Mac version is released, will I be penalized for having bought the Windows version? Or will I be automatically switched to the Mac version I was originally hoping for? Please reply, Articulate gurus. Thanks!
You are certainly welcome to reach out to our success team here if you'd like to discuss possible upgrade paths for future versions, but I do not have any information to share of when or what those next versions will be.
I love "Rise"! It is an amazing and powerful tool. To me, it takes away the need for 360. However, it is disappointing that I do not have access to some of the amazing content in the content library without running 360. I wish there were an easier way to get access to those assets than windows.
You can add Content Library images directly into Rise now! This is a new feature within the last couple weeks. Take a look at the article here on how to get started!
I also would like to see a native version. I was stunned to find out there was not a Mac version - seems like everything is available in Mac these days
I love Storyline 2, but not being able to use it on a Mac has kept my company from procuring licenses for my team. We're not willing to buy Windows licenses and install parallel desktops on everyone's machines for this one application.
Really surprised as well! I was about to purchase, just assuming there was a version for MAC, now I am reconsidering. Does anyone have any information on how well Storyline works within Parallels or VMware? I'm concerned about technical issues.
I know how much people love Macs (or dislike PCs!) as I'm an Apple lover myself. I do find that working in VMWare is pretty easy and I know at least one other user shared recently how they were a convert too.

I mean if there is any differences in terms of features. between 13 and 360.
Thanks.
Perhaps this handy chart is what you are looking for to compare.
Awesome! Thanks.
Just adding my voice to the community that I would very much appreciate a native Mac version of Storyline.

Any news on when Storyline 360 will be available for mac without having to use Parellels?
I am with you, Debbie! I would love an update or at least a statement from the team at Articulate.
I wish to add my voice to the others. Please come out with a native app for Mac users.

Just started the free trial and was also stunned no mac version - WHAT?????

Hi all,
We recently shared an update on Storyline for Mac in this discussion, and you'll see a response from our CTO, Arlyn Asch as well.
If you have any other questions, please let me know or feel free to reach out to our team privately here.
What works best with mac and storyline in your experience? -Bootcamp, VMWare or Parallels?
Hi Isabella,
I know our Support team uses a combination of VMWare and Parallels - me personally I'm on VMWare.

Same here. Just hit me out of the blue, I was expecting a OSX version as well.

There is an annual fee for that right?
I seem to be stuck in the process. Can you help?
It tells me to place an image of the disk???? Not sure what they mean by that.
