Is "Configuration.js" file case sensitive?

Oct 09, 2015

Hello to all in the great Articulate world,

As per subject matter, this is a general question to all. I am curious, are "Configuration.js" files case sensitive whereby they have to begin with a capital letter "C"?

This is because there was an issue with a project (4 courses; each course has 13 topics) whereby the courses loaded but only with a blank page - and remained blank. Please be informed of a strange behavior whereby these courses could be launched successfully after go-live but after several months, the courses failed to launch. Then, we contacted our LMS support team and was advised of below entry to load for the files:

<script src="lms/Configuration.js" type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8"></script>

The solution that we tested with was to capitalize the letter "C" for all "Configuration.js" files across all SCORM files for this particular project. Outcome was successful but this worked fine for 3 courses. One remains unsolved.

A second strange behavior that we encountered was there were existing SCORM files with "Configuration.js" correctly named but still failed to launch - blank page.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Are there any suggestion/advice to the cause that I can look into further?

Hope I made sense. :)

Thanks, all!

To note:

Several users experienced some error affecting Line 223. I believe this is some JavaScript issue? Do correct me if I'm wrong.
