IS IT POSSIBLE, MUSIC TRACKS IN A STORYLINE?
Mar 31, 2015
I’m not at all sure if this is a revolutionary idea, weather it has been done before, or even if it is possible at all, maybe its just plain stupid?
I am a published author, and also have a love for music, wherever possible I try to mention music tracks in my writing. On my home PC I can easily link a track to my music file, but it struck me that it would be nice if I could E-publish a book, as I have done with Amazon, were the reader could also click on the title of a mentioned track, BUT continue reading the storyline without being redirected to a directory of music titles? I can’t find any reference to such a thing and wonder if it can be done? And would a publisher such as Amazon, be able to incorporate such a feature in a written text?

You can certainly add audio/music to a Storyline project, but If you want to e-publish books, I wonder if Storyline is the best tool. There is iBooks Author for simple eBooks on the Mac and InDesign for professional publishing needs. That's just two example of dedicated eBooks publishing tools.
Hi Tez,
You can add audio to Storyline files, however they will need to be slide by slide files as Playlists are not supported.
