Is it possible to customize more than 3 different feedback options (Correct, Try Again and Incorrect) ?

Sep 26, 2017

Hi y'all

I'm a newbie at e learning design (formerly graphic designer) so this might sound super complicated :)

In my e learning my user receives an email (question). The user then has to choose from 5 different replies. Within these replies 3 are wrong and 2 are right. User has 2 attempts. The questions are to be graded and tracked on a results page.

Results for first try:

  • reply 1 = Incorrect Try Again with reply 1 feedback
  • reply 2  = Incorrect Try Again with reply 2 feedback
  • reply 3 = Incorrect Try Again with reply 3 feedback
  • reply 4 = Correct with reply 4 feedback - Continue to next question
  • reply 5 = Correct with reply 5 feedback - Continue to next question

Results for second try:

  • reply 1 = Incorrect with reply 1 feedback - Continue to next question
  • reply 2 = Incorrect with reply 2 feedback - Continue to next question
  • reply 3 = Incorrect with reply 3 feedback - Continue to next question

My issue is that I don't know how to keep this question grated and offer 8 different feedback options. I would need 2 Correct feedback, 3 Incorrect Try Again and 3 Incorrect feedback.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hello Caroline and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

You could certainly set something like this up, but it would not be 'out of the box'. You'd have to utilize variables and triggers.

Take a look at this example to see if it helps get you started and hopefully someone in the community will be able to chime in to assist with your design if needed.
