The title is effectively my question: Is it possible to use the Windows Media Player plugin to play videos in Storyline 360?
A potential client says HTML5 playback is not stable on their Remote Desktop Environments and they ask all E-Learning media to be played in the Windows Media Player plugin rather than the native HTML5 client.
I'm inclined to agree, but for the sake of argument:
Windows Media Player plugin can play MP4's, right? HTML5 is preferred but my potential customer insists that WMP Plugin is a better method in their particulate, thin client configuration.
So in theory I would think they would play fine in the web browser, the trick is how do I play them with the WMP plugin? Some sort of Javascript embed? Has anyone DONE this?
Does Articulate supply/have a video player built into the application or is an Add-in like Windows Media Player necessary to run/play videos embedded in the course?

My guess is "no" to Windows Media Player as the videos are formatted in an incompatible video format

Hi USC,
Are you looking to embed the plugin inside Storyline? I haven't seen anyone do that - but there's always a first for everything!
I will be interested to see what the ELH community is able to share with you here.
Question,
