Is Stereo Mix available for SL360?

May 16, 2017

Hi

I have an audio recorded in stereo mix (meaning there are different tracks in both left and right speakers). But once the audio is imported into SL360, and try to edit the audio, I see only one track. It appears as if the audio is forced into Mono.

Did someone try this? would you kindly share your experience.

P.S. I have attached a sample .mp3 file. please feel free to add it into your slide and try it out!

For spoken word stereo is nice but not necessary, but for music, stereo makes a huge difference. Having background music in stereo allows you to expand the music making it sound like it's coming further from the left and right. That then frees up the center for the mono spoken word. If everything is mono it's all on top of each other in the center. Having stereo for spoken would would also be nice if you have two people talking. Pan one person to the left and the other to the right and it sounds more like you're in the middle of a conversation.
