I apologise if this has been covered lately - I've had a look and can't see anything - but I was wondering if/when Storyline will be fully responsive like Rise?
I used Articulate with my old employers but my new ones have gone with a different elearning authoring platform for various reasons.
I'm trying to encourage them to come back to Articulate, but if the only fully responsive tool is Rise, I will struggle as their current tool which is responsive allows more flexibility for building than Rise does.
This article below covers a comparison of the responsive player in Storyline 360 vs. a software like Captivate, where every element can be adjusted depending on the device used.
At the moment, we don't have plans to adjust how Storyline displays this responsiveness, but I'm happy to share the feedback with our team. You can also feel free to detail them more through a feature request!
Whilst I appreciate there are some nods to removing the 'architecture' around the content for different devices, and the validity of some of the points raised, we do need a fully responsive option with more flexibility than Rise I think. I will feed back to my team though.
Running into the same potential issue with some content not being responsive (storyline, other interactive media) but I don't know yet how many of my users will be consuming my courses on smaller screen sizes, is anyone willing to share some numbers on your user's devices- desktop / tablet / mobile? thank you -Phil
