Hello, I am trying to add a layer to a base layer, but I don't want to use the same slide template that I used for the base layer. Can I insert a new layer that is using a different slide template than the one used by the base layer?
When you add layers to a slide, they'll be based upon the feedback master's blank layout by default. Check out this article if you would like to change the layout for your layer.
Thanks for your response. I checked the layer's layout dropdown list as you suggested, but it seems to only allow me to choose among different layouts for the feedback master templates. I want to change the layer's layout to a regular master template design - I have multiple layouts designed for different purposes for the slides. Some are for course objectives, whereas others just for regular contents. Is that possible to change the layers to just another regular template slide then?

Check out the information here on creating your slide masters as this is what the layers are based on.
