Is the Jump to Next Slide trigger in the last layer supported?

I may have several layers in a slide. I would like to activate the Jump to Next Slide When User Clicks Next Button trigger only in the last layer, so that an impatient student doesn't inadvertently click the Next button before all layers have been shown.

When I try to put this trigger in the last layer, it saves it in the base layer. I can copy/paste the trigger to the last layer, but it doesn't seem to work when I preview and click Next. Is there another way to get the same end result (where the user cannot click Next until all layers have been shown)?

Hi Elfeda,

I'm curious, are you using the built in Next button? If so, you may want to review this tutorial on how to disable the next button until a user has interacted with all slide elements. If you were going to disable the built in next button (even for just this slide) you could create a custom button and only place it on the last layer. Either of those options would give you the desired results, and it's really about how you want to set it up.
