Is there a certificate for Articulate Storyline similar to MOS?

Apr 06, 2014

I have been searching and searching the Internet looking for an independent certificate that would measure my abilities with the functionality of Articulate Storyline. I cannot seem to find anything that meets my criteria.

I have my Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certificate as a Master with Office 2007 and Office 2010. I completed different certification exams with Certiport in order to gain those accreditations. They were helpful in pointing out holes in some of my knowledge of the applications. Word is my power application. I knew how to use the others moderately well before completing the certificates.

I am looking for something similar regarding Articulate Storyline. I have the eBook published last year, which I will be spending some time reading. Also, I drafted a checklist to help me keep track of all of the online tutorials which I have read or watched. I am trying to get as much information into my head as possible, knowing that it will become useful when the need arises. I am treating all of these training tools as study guides.

If a certificate like I have in mind is not currently available, are there plans of producing one in the future?

I remember when I was hiring people to join my department while in a previous role, and they claimed to be advanced users of Word. Only after they started working in the department, were they shocked to find out that they knew almost nothing of the advanced functionality of the application.

I want to be able to say with confidence that I am an advanced or expert user of Articulate Storyline and back it up with a certificate which has global recognition. Otherwise, I risk sounding more confident in my depth of knowledge about Articulate Storyline than would be warranted.
