I have a course that marks completion based on number of slides viewed. Once the course is complete a new button is revealed allowing the user to print a certificate of completion. Does Storyline make the internal course completion variable accessible? If so what is it called ("getPlayer.getVar(????)"). Please do not tell me I have to track every page via custom boolean variables to get this to work.
Sorry about all the repeat postings. The Articulate server kept sending me error messages. When I opened up MyProfile this morning there were 5 versions of the same post. I found a work around (setting the Menu/navigation to Restricted) but I still would like to know why the SL developers wont make the internal variables "gettable"
No worries Randall - we actually shared the dup postings with our team and they're investigating why they occur.
We don't make the internal variables accessible, and I am not on the development team so I can't answer the "why" component but you can share your thoughts with our team here.

You can easily track by slides viewed in Storyline, and you'll set that up as a part of the publishing options - once a user is on a slide it counts as visited within Storyline.
