No that is a small course, there is something else going on. Do you have any special characters in the file name? Is the file path longer than 256 characters? are you publishing to a network drive?
I'd echo Phil's comments. Your course size is relatively small. First make sure you aren't publishing to a network drive — make sure you are working on your C drive with both the Storyline file and as the publishing location. If you are already doing that I'd try disabling iSpeech and see if it publishes.
Thanks very much for your reply! So, I just tried publishing again without changing a thing and it's working fine. The system must have hiccupped or something yesterday. Go figure.
I'm happy to hear things are back to normal - and to echo Phil and Brett's comments, I wanted to share the information here in regards to common causes for odd behavior as detailed here.
Ah, that could do it Rita! Stay away from that network/shared drive... ;-)
If you need to back up or share the files with other users that way, you'll want to look at saving the file locally and then closing before uploading or copying there. Then just follow the same steps in reverse to save/copy to your local drive before you open to edit it.

Thanks, Phil - I think the file path may be the problem - at least I hope so!

Thanks very much for the link, Ashley! Come to think of it, I was working on our shared drive, which I don't normally do - I needed that reminder.
Cheers!
