We are working with a vendor for external content passing thru our LMS. I had to create a shell (1-slide) course with a self launching URL to the external vendor. The learner then has to enter information on the vendor site to connect to a course. When they are complete, our LMS receives a data feed back with completion data for the course.
Currently, the course I created completes within our LMS as soon as you click the URL because its set to slides viewed. Is there a way to edit the settings so that it stays in progress until the external data feed comes back?

Articulate Storyline communicates course completion to a learning management system (LMS) as soon as the learner meets the completion requirement—i.e., either when they reach the designated quiz result slide or when they've viewed the required number of slides.
Thank you. My question is there any other way to complete a course besides these 2 options. The view slide option is making this complete before the information is received back from the vendor. Is there a way to turn this off so that the course doesn’t complete until the data feed is received?

Thanks Christie for the information abotut replying via email. I won't do that again. As for submitting a file, I don't think that will be necessary. the file itself works fine. we are looking for a way to communicate to the LMS that this file should not complete until data is received from the third party's LMS during the designated data extraction/integration intervals we have setup. I think this is beyond the capability of Storyline. I was hoping we could modify the imsmanifest file in some way but I am not a coder so was looking for some help. I have sent the scorm file over to our partner on this project to see if they can modify anything.
