Is there a way to reset individual quiz questions?

Feb 13, 2020

I am trying a new way of doing quiz questions a different than I have been creating them. I added the information from the area of the elearn that the question applies to as layers on the question,  if the learn gets the answers wrong they would go through the layers to review the course material.

What I want to happen is for them to be able to re-answer the question. Problem is I having is once I go through the layers and go back to the main slide the answers are not reset.

I added a couple of slides to show you what I was doing, the first slide is the one I added the layers to.

Hi Carrie

See if the attached file works for you.

I changed the number of attempts in the form view to '2'.  SL automatically adds a 'Try Again' layer - I changed the text on this to the text you originally had on the Incorrect layer.

I also added triggers to reset the radio buttons to normal if they had been selected during the first attempt and changed the revisit slide option to 'automatically decide'.

Hope this helps and shout out if you need more help.

Hi Carrie

You haven't changed the number of attempts to 2 in the form view. When you do - SL will add in another Try Again layer (it will have light blue text on it) - just delete this one and use your TA layer.

Here is a Peek video of it working for the first two slides

Here is a Peek working on slide 3 to see what I do
