I have lots of triggers and variables. Is there an easier way to do this?

Apr 10, 2019

For a current project I've been asked to create an interaction that involves a user completing a quiz, then adding tomato sauce to a pizza base. The amount of sauce they add needs to be dependent on their quiz results, with the option to either continue, or retry if their score is less than required.

I've been creating eLearning for several years but have only just started using Storyline for this project. I threw together a mock up just so I could test the functionality before I started committing to any specifics. It does work but there are so many variables and triggers involved in getting it to do what I want, there must be an easier way to do this surely?

Please excuse the crude aesthetics of the interaction, as I mentioned, this was purely to test the functionality, so it's looks awful!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
