Is this possible? I created layers and on one particular layer, I would like to display graphics where a user can hover the mouse over it to view additional information from another layer. It only takes me to the original layer and not the assigned layer where the information is located.
This is definitely something that should be possible. But I'm a little unclear on what's happening. Is the layer with the information closing, or are you not seeing it at all?
Are you able to share a little more detail on the triggers you're using, or even better, can you share the .story file for the project, so we can take a look?
Layer 1 has a kitten with a hover state. The new object is in the hover state.
Layer 2 has a kitten with a trigger to open another layer with a mouse. The key on the mouse layer is the properties settings. Uncheck the box to hide other slide layers. This way, both Layer 2 and the mouse layer show simultaneously.
Hi Kathryn! I am able to open it with no issue. I will re-attach to see if it will help since this thread is a bit dated. Let us know if you need assistance and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Wow. Thanks for such a quick reply. I am able to open this time. I had the 'hide other layers' ticked', I have unticked them and working fine now. I am having lots of fun with the software. Thank you Kathryn.

Yes, Linda, you can do this.
On the attached file, I've done this two ways.
Maybe one of these methods will work for you.
Thanks, Meryem :D
Anything with kittens = win!
Have a great Friday,
Christine
Hello Meryem. I have the same question. I am unable to open your attached kitten file layer example. Can you re post?
Thanks. Kathryn
