I have been having an odd issue with the "Format Background" option in Storyline. I am trying to change the background from a solid gray to a photo background. However, after I select my photo and hit "Close," the background stays gray. I tried changing it in Slide Master, too, and then all the backgrounds turned solid black. Any ideas?

I tinkered with the background a bit more, and it looks like when I imported an old Storyline template, the background color imported as an image instead of a color. Once I clicked on “Hide Background Graphic” in the Slide Master, I was able to fix it. I haven’t had these issues with this template before, and I am not sure why it’s not working now, but I was able to fix it for now.

Are you seeing this issue across all projects or just one in particular. I popped in and this functionality seems to be working on my system.
If it's just one file, you may want to consider importing into a new file.
