I am wondering if anyone has run into this issue before. When I import a PowerPoint file with a transparent Action button into Storyline 2 or 360, the associated action (hyperlink) is not transferred over. Normally, a trigger would be added for the Action button.
Thanks for sharing your sample file. I am certainly seeing the behavior you are reporting now.
The difference seems to be importing as a picture vs a text box.
I can accomplish your goal by choosing a solid fill and 100% transparency.
Scene 1 in the attached file is your pptx and Scene 2 is the image adjusted as I mentioned above. As you can see it imported with the Jump to Slide as expected.
I'm going to share this with my team. Sorry if this has slowed you down.
You're welcome. Thanks for providing a workaround for this. The other way I did this was to convert the invisible action button to another shape and it imported in fine.
Would this issue be addressed in future upgrades of 360? The reason why I ask is because I know there are trainers in our company who develop a lot of learning using this feature in PowerPoint and have it uploaded to Storyline by others who have access to the tool.
Glad that was helpful and glad to hear that you had found a way around it as well. Thanks for sharing your solution as well :)
As I mentioned above, I have shared this with my team and we will continue to keep an eye on it to evaluate how many customers are impacted and what impact it has on courses. The number of customers and depth of impact are two of the elements that help us prioritize bugs and fixes.
Here’s some more detail about how we tackle them when they occur. I’m really sorry that I can’t say if this issue will be fixed but you’re in the right place to stay updated on this bug’s progress.
This is all good to know, Leslie. I would appreciate it if your team could keep me updated if (and when) there is a decision to fix this bug according to what you told me above.

Hey there, Brian. I did a quick test, and my hyperlinked text in PowerPoint successfully became "jump to slide" triggers in Storyline 360.
Thanks!
Hi Crystal. Thanks for responding. I am using PowerPoint 2010 and do not have Presenter installed.
I have attached the file for you to review.

Hi Brian! As promised, I wanted to let you know we fixed the issue you reported where hyperlinked objects did not import from PowerPoint correctly.
Install the latest Storyline 360 update to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes.
If the problem happens again, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I’ll be happy to help!
