Issue with Line Breaks in Glossaries

May 24, 2018

Has anyone else had this issue?

We published to Articulate Review last week, and our client left feedback saying there were extraneous line breaks in the Glossary entries in our course. When I went into the Glossary entry menu, I noticed there were line breaks about every 3 lines (we hadn't built the course, they delivered it like this to us to edit). I fixed all of these in the source file, then republished. When I looked at it again on Review, there were still line breaks throughout, but much less frequently, and only on really long entries. Any ideas what could've caused this? I've searched up and down and can't find anyone with a similar issue.

Maybe this isn't your problem, but Articulate is pretty insistent about adding an extra line or half a line to all returns.

I've noticed it in Glossary entries, Notes, and on this forum.

Notice below how this text looks if I create it in Notepad and paste it:

In both instances, I put one return after "returns." In both the Glossary and Notes it is an extra full return that has to be deleted. Here in the forum, it's more like 12 extra points before or after each paragraph, but you can't delete it.
