I have a Storyline project that links to a web object in a local folder. When I publish for Web all works as expected, the web page is displayed. However, when I publish the project to Review 360, I get an error. How do I include external content in the upload to Review?
You might try publishing,, then loading the target file into one of the published folders, then point the web object to that folder, and republish, making sure the file remains in the final folder.
I don't know for sure that will work, but I think that's what I would try first.
Hmmm. I just tried a web object (just a 2 line HTML file that loads a locally stored PDF) and it worked fine in both the Modern and Classic players when published to Review. I assume you're using the latest update (3.57.x).
If you want to remove all the non-web-object and proprietary content and send me a link to the project on Review, I'll test it in a few browsers. Or, if you can share a single-slide .story file and the web object folder contents, I'll be happy try publishing it to my Review site.

Thanks Walt, but no luck.
Michael, a couple things to check...
What is the character count of the full path and filename of the content you're trying to open once it's on Review?
What is the extension of the filename you're trying to open? I can imagine some systems might balk at opening a .zip or .xlsx.
The file is a simple html page. I renamed it to Sample and copied everything into a folder on C:/, so the filepath shouldn't be an issue.
The web object and all files/folders should be being pulled into the project when you publish

Also, have you tried the "Publish locally for manual upload" option? That shouldn't be necessary but worth a try.
I would also try publishing elsewhere, review is inside an iframe, so often an iframe within another iframe does not function correctly
Finally, publish locally and check the web object content is attached
