I have an arrow that is centered over a circle in its normal state. However, when I view the object in preview mode its alignment is completely off in comparison to the circle. In edit mode, it looks fine. What could be causing this? See attached file.
It is still centered for me in preview mode as well. I'm curious if your DPI setting may be causing an issue for you?
Articulate Storyline requires Microsoft Windows to be configured with 96 DPI (dots per inch). If Windows is using a different DPI setting, you may experience erratic behavior, such as:
* Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.
* Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.
* Zoomed images don't work as expected.
* Font sizes are incorrect after using the translation features.
Thanks for the responses so far. My DPI settings are correct and my zoom settings are at the default level. Interestingly, when publishing the course, everything looks fine. So it seems to be a preview issue.
Very strange. Does this happen in all of your courses or was that limited to this one? Curious if you import into a new file if you experience the same behavior?

I don't think many programs accurately display the relationship between two objects over a range of zoom percentages.
I'm guessing that your preview alignment matches the edit mode at 100%, but not other sizes.

Importing did not help. I even changed computers and it's still misaligned. I simply chose not to group objects over top of each other in states.
I've attached an image of what I see. Notice the arrow is not quite centered in the previewed image.
Well, glad it's working when you publish Michael. That is the most important :)
