Issue with Quiz Results Review/Retry Button

Hey guys,

New to Storyline 360 - I have this Quiz Results slide with a review, retry, and continue button that I made. I'm sure this is a trigger issue but can't figure out how to set it up correctly. Basically, they all work, but I want the learner to be able to click the review button to review results and then click the retry button to take the quiz over once they get to the results screen again after the review. I have the trigger to reset results when the Retry button is clicked, but it keeps showing the reviewed results since they had initially reviewed it the first time. It doesn't do this when I just click on the Retry button the first time. Any help appreciated!

You're right, sounds like a trigger will fix this! It would be helpful to see your file to offer a more specific solution.

Hi Jenny, I don't think you need the triggers to change the state of the 3 buttons to Down when clicked. They will automatically change to that state (and then return to normal when returning to that layer). Perhaps because you have those triggers, they are remaining in that state, and that's why the buttons aren't working for you the second time around. Just a hunch. Perhaps you could try disabling or removing those triggers for now and retest to see if that works.

Hi Jenny! Welcome to the Articulate Storyline world. :) The triggers are all correct. The only thing you need to change is the order of the items under the RetryButton. Using the arrow, move the Reset results 1.18 trigger to the top of the 3 items. Storyline goes by order. This will let it know to reset results before jumping to a slide to retry the quiz. I inlcuded this image of what it should look like. Hope that helps.
