My Storyline 3 course has a slide with a rectangle that start with an initial state of hidden. There is a trigger on another shape on the slide that changes the rectangle to normal when the shape is selected.
The issue in Chrome is that when the shape is selected, the rectangle appears behind the other shapes behind it on the slide the including shapes that are on the slide master. This is not happening in IE.

Have you been able to update to Storyline 3 Update 6 yet? We released it yesterday and included an enhancement that may fix what you are running into with Chrome 72.
Enhanced: We added support for Google Chrome 72 and Safari 12.0.3. If objects disappear when viewing a course in these browsers, install the latest Storyline 3 update and republish your course.
If you're running into something different, then with your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
