We had an instance a few months ago where the Prev and Next buttons kept appearing in a custom skin - we published the output then went into the frame.xml file and turned all instances of Prev/Next from true to false...not sure if this will work for you with Resources - maybe give it a shot.

I would check you don't have some slides set to custom player settings

I closed Storyline and deleted all the temp files. All ok now.
